Mr. Wong, Chi Kun was born in Hong Kong on May 5,
1946 and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Wong had been dedicating
his life to the local community for past 18 years. Since 1986, he had
been elected to the president of SunWai Village and vice president of
WongChukHang village and Stanley village for more than 10 years. Mr.
Wong never stop working and sharing his opinion with the government to
improve the community environment and criminal rate. He had been
acting as a bridge to connect the people and the government together.
On May 3rd, 2004, Mr. Wong received the commendation from Hong Kong
government -
department of the Secretary for Home Affairs. Unfortunately, he passed away in Toronto on Oct 13, 2004 due to the long
battle of lung cancer. His dead is a lost but will never be forgotten.
